On the elegant square, opposite the main railway station, near the gates of the old town, from 1891 stands Hotel Warszawski. It has a lot to offer for less money: everything is kept at a tip-top, spotlessly clean and comfortable, also with fast, free Wi-Fi and satellite TV. Additional benefits include bathrooms with white, red and black marble - with a mirror ceiling, so you can not escape! Breakfast buffet is plentiful, staff friendly. When traveling by car, you can park in a guarded area next to the hotel.
You pay little more than a double room in the hostel, but you get the comfort of a 4-star hotel: the traditional 1891 hotel is opposite the main railway station and the Galeria Krakowska shopping center at the entrance to the old town. Inside everything is spotlessly clean and comfortable. Rooms have marble bathrooms in beige, copper or black. The breakfast buffet is plentiful, the staff friendly. Free WiFi.
Just slightly more expensive than the double room in the hostel, for the comfort of almost 4-star hotel: facing the main railway station at the entrance to the old town. Rooms and suites are nicely decorated and impeccably maintained, with satellite TV and free Wi-Fi internet access. Marble bathroom in red, beige and black with mirror ceiling, heated towel rack and exceptionally quiet taps. The staff is very accomodating, as seldom in Krakow, and the breakfast buffet is plentiful. Secured parking is next door.
Warszawski - best price / performance ratio. This traditional Habsburg hotel (1891) is located opposite the glass palace of the Galeria Krakowska and the main railway station, just a short walk from the Main Square. From the first moment you can feel comfortable: reception is friendly and rooms are cozy (satellite TV). Very beautiful are the marble bathrooms, which are decorated in red, sometimes in black or white, always with a mirror ceiling, additionally quiet taps, hairdryer and heated towel bar. Whoever has his laptop with him, can expect that the whole hotel has a free WiFi zone (!).
The guest is king – Warszawski: 64-105 € (children under 5 - free, children under 15 pay only for breakfast). Best hotel around the station, the atmosphere is friendly and soothing. You sleep very peacefully, the view of the shady courtyard with mature trees is somewhat reminiscent of Cracow in the old days. Beautiful marble bathroom with mirror ceiling, taps are exceptionally quiet, in addition to heating, there is heated towel rack. Wireless internet access is free in Warszawski. A good buffet breakfast was served in the basement and free mineral water was available in the corridor.
